Family Justice League

Family Justice League (FJL-US) is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization comprised of mothers, fathers, step parents, grandparents, and others dedicated to fighting for the rights of America’s children to a loving relationship with both parents and extended family.

Family Justice League founders Judi Smith-Phelps and Robert Mendris, both former members of Fathers-4-Justice, developed Family Justice League as a vehicle to unite the fragmented equal parenting groups that often focus specifically on father's rights. FJL is concerned about the millions of children that are harmed every time our courts choose one parent rather than both parents, regardless of gender, in custody decisions.

Family Justice League volunteers engage in a variety of activities within our communities in order to increase public awareness to the dire need for family law reform and to mandate shared parenting.

Activities include community involvement and volunteer work, demonstrations, rallies, public speaking engagements, communicating with federal, state, and local legislators, disseminating informational brochures and providing encouragement and emotional support to fellow members entangled in the family justice system.
