Faiza Khan

Ms. Faiza Khan was born in Abbottabad in the year 1975. She studied from Army Burn Hall College Abbottabad from class prep (1980) up to higher secondary level (1993) She is trained in studio painting and graduated from Oklahoma University in Fine Art, Studio Painting. She has held numerous exhibitions in Pakistan and USA. Her first solos exhibition of Islamabad was on 23rd of May 2009 in Hunerkada College of Visual and Performing Arts She is in the List of Pakistani artists who exhibit abroad and represent their culture: reference:http://threeravensgallery.com She received Gulgee Award from Abasin Arts Council Peshawar in the year 1998. She met with Ismail Gulgee who became a big source of inspiration for her which reflects in the abstract expressionistic nature of her work.
