Ezra Igor

Ezra Igor Tanjung Pambuko (born December 2, 1985) is an Indonesian musician, best known for his work as the singer, guitarist, and songwriter on an orkest band Sastrosastri.

Early life and Sastrosastri

Igor was born in Semarang, Indonesia. He was in several bands before he established Sastrosastri in 2010. His first band was called "Seven Asian Generation", a Rock music band. Igor started a band called "Sastrosastri" after Igor interested in orkes music that played by Serempet Gudal. The band consisted of Igor as lead singer, Licco on bass, Yosifya on guitar, Lia on keyboard, Ikbal on cymbal, Reza on flute, Rizki on kendang, Ellya on tambourine, and Yayuk as backing vocal. Igor also take Anita Woro as the manager until present. They later released Yosifya, Lia, Reza, Rizka, Ellya, Licco and Yayuk due to their bussiness. Later, Igor and Ikbal as the original member of Sastrosastri take Gendon, Karel Black, Aditama, Isti, Cardinal, Damar, Anton, Iprit, Geo, Iprit and Visca to the lineup. In June 2011, Visca left the band and her position replaced with Erwin as additional keyboard. According to this new formation of Sastrosastri, Igor is playing as rhythm guitarist.

Music career

Sastrosastri

While Ezra Igor was on holiday in his hometown, Semarang, he come to the show of an orkest band called Serempet Gudal. Afterward, he decide to make a band in the same genre with Serempet Gudal. He met his classmate on April 2010 from his faculty Licco Puji, Ikbal Gunawan, and Yosifya to join with his new band that called Sastrosastri and perform their show in a small event of their faculty. At that show, Igor ask some of his friend to play together in that show. After the show, Sastrosastri are legally established with Igor as lead singer, Yayuk as backing vocal, Licco on kendang, Rizki on ketipung, Yosifya on guitar, Ellya on tambourine, Lia on keyboard, Ikbal on cymbal, and Reza on shaker. But this formation finally changed after a lot of the personel decide to left the band. Igor did not want to break this band and then search new personel and then find the new one. After find Aditama as lead singer, Igor decide to play guitar and Licco move to bass. They also find Gendon to play ukulele, Visca to play keyboard, Ikbal move to percussion with Papu and Reza, Ari as lead guitarist, and Patricia Meta as backing vocal. This formation are helped by Bobby as additional drummer. In this era, Igor hire his girlfriend, Anita Woro, as manager for this band.

This formation are no longer exist. On November 2010, Licco decide to resign from this band due to his religious movement on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ari left this band due to their job. Igor also fired Reza due to a lot of trouble. But Sastrosastri was already has some show contracts.

Melissa McMonroe

Beside Sastrosastri, Igor also playing as Cajón player in a pop band called Melissa McMonroe with Nezya Pinta as lead vocalist and guitarist and Giovanni Battista on guitar. On this band, Igor is the major songwriter.

Gimmick

on Sastrosastri, Igor's hairstyle is always like Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein's, an ex guitarist of Misfits as his salutation for Doyle.
