Exoconsciousness
Exoconsciousness is the study and practical applications of the extraterrestrial origins, dimensions and abilities of human consciousness. The concept of exoconsciousness was originated by Rebecca Hardcastle, Ph.D. Exoconsciousness focuses on the relationship between humans and extraterrestrials in respect to consciousness, biology, history as well as galactic, planetary and human potentials.
The foundational twin pillars of Exoconsciousness are Quantum Physics and validity of Subjective Experience.
Exoconsciousness emphasizes healthy, holistic integration of contact experiences for the acceleration of advanced, quantum consciousness. This holistic approach is based on quantum principles of entanglement and non-locality. Quantum consciousness is holographic—interconnected and self-organized. Through entanglement, non-local particles can communicate with each other over distance and time.
Exoconsciousness posits practical applications of advanced consciousness, within and beyond the brain. Footnote: Philosopher(s) David Chalmers, Ph.D. and Andy Clark, Ph.D. posit the theory of “extended mind,” which proposes that some objects in the external environment are utilized by the mind in such a way that the objects can be seen as extensions of the mind itself. The philosophical view of proto consciousness indicates that consciousness may be a fundamental constituent of reality, a building block.
Exoconsciousness is an experiential concept, based on valid subjective understanding. It normalizes paranormal abilities once thought beyond human capacity, as essential for a 21st century space faring species. Working from Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, exoconsciousness posits an additional psychic intelligence that involves the ability to identify, receive, send, and apply extrasensory perception in the quantum field, beyond the five senses, for purposes of cognition, communication, creation and travel.
Psychic intelligence encompasses performance of extrasensory abilities identified as paranormal and practiced by mediums, psychics, shamans and practitioners of energy medicine as well as extraterrestrial contactees. Psychic abilities necessary for the transition of humans to a space faring species in a galactic culture include telepathy, extrasensory perception, remote viewing, precognition and retrocognition,
The concept of Exoconsciousness evolved from Hardcastle’s work with UFO and extraterrestrial contactees in her practice as a transformational strategist and hypnotherapist. Hardcastle trained for more than a decade with Ruth Hover, Ph.D., who leads the longest-running extraterrestrial contactee group in the United States. Hover was a colleague of Pulitzer Prize winner John Edward Mack, M.D., and affiliated with his PEER (Program for Extraordinary Experience Research John Mack theorized the need for experiencers to “fence the fear.”
Hardcastle posits that exercising and strengthening exoconscious psychic abilities leads to potential neurological changes where the human brain resolves its bicameral, discordant nature with techniques that develop balance and unification. Pioneering collaborations between neurologists, technology, and spiritual based mind practitioners produce consciousness technology techniques that free the human mind of trauma and division, promoting balance and unification.
Hardcastle’s transformational strategies and hypnotherapy practice emphasizes trauma release, which leads to brain balancing and an extraterrestrial-like unified brain. Hardcastle’s trauma release methods and exoconscious unified brain theory are based in the work of Lee Gerdes, founder of Brain States Technology, traumatologist Dr. Robert Scaer and the trauma releasing theories and techniques of David Berceli.
Rebecca Hardcastle, Ph.D.
Hardcastle received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Otterbein College in 1973. Prior to receiving her bachelor’s degree, Hardcastle studied continental philosophy in 1972 at the Institute for European Studies in Basel, Switzerland. Hardcastle studied at Boston University’s School of Theology, in Boston, Mass., where she received a Master of Divinity in philosophical theology in 1976. Hardcastle received her doctorate in parapsychic science in 2005 from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in Birmingham, Ala. Hardcastle earned her hypnotherapy and life coaching certification in 2005 from Southwestern Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. Choosing to serve the university community, Hardcastle was an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church in 1978. Hardcastle was an ecumenical chaplain and director of campus ministry at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio from 1976 to 1992. At Wright State University, she edited a Gallup study on young adult attitudes and lifestyles. Hardcastle served for eight years on the national board of United Methodist Communications, participating in the launch of the United Methodist Church’s national television presence.
Exoconsciousness and Disclosure
At the 2009 X-Conference in Washington, D.C., the concept of exoconsciousness was closely linked to the Disclosure Movement via the subjective informational experience of contact.
Hardcastle specializes in paranormal research, concentrating on advanced consciousness via UFO and extraterrestrial contact. Through her work with exoconsciousness, Hardcastle is committed to normalizing paranormal abilities within mainstream arenas of psychiatry, medicine, science, philosophy and culture.
Hardcastle’s book, "Exoconsciousness: Your 21st Century Mind". published in 2008, details extraterrestrial contact through story, metaphysics, quantum science and ancient knowledge. Committed to fostering the groundbreaking Ufology work of Harvard’s John Mack, Hardcastle applies contemporary scientific traumatology techniques to reframe and rewire trauma scars that often skew the perception of extraterrestrial contact. For more information see: Exoconsciousness.com.
In 2005, Hardcastle taught one of the first Ufology courses in the United States at Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hardcastle is currently on the faculty of the International Metaphysical University, where she teaches exoconsciousness.

Extraterrestrial Reality
Dedicated to empowering the planet’s citizenry to create an extraterrestrial reality through exoconsciousness, Hardcastle is affiliated with Quantrek, founded by Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth astronaut to walk on the moon. In 1973, Dr. Mitchell also founded the non-profit Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS).
IONS’ mission is to advance the science of consciousness and human experience to serve individual and collective transformation.
Quantrek, Inc. is a nonprofit frontier science research organization which promotes and accelerates the advancement of knowledge about the ultimate nature of reality utilizing the scientific method for the betterment of humankind. It is also interested in the peaceful extraterrestrial presence.
Hardcastle and Terri Mansfield, a recognized international peace diplomat, are co-directors of Peace Exoconsciousness for Quantrek.
Hardcastle and Mansfield are partners with Dr. Suzanne Mendelssohn in her organization: Fundraising in the Public Interest, which seeks funding from billionaires for nonprofits dedicated to radical social change for the planet.
Hardcastle is also co-founder of ETVoteNow.org, a transpartisan, nonaffiliated citizen organization committed to forming a planetary and national Department of Extraterrestrial Alliances, responsible for the open public dissemination, integration and utilization of extraterrestrial/UFO information, creating a culture of Peace on Earth, Peace in Space .
