Exhilway Finance is a financial services corporation headquartered in Calgary, Canada. According to the 2008-2009 global STOCK market trading revenue Exhilway is sixth largest financial company that masters in the art of proprietary arbitrage which involves global equity and commodity markets. Exhilway employs 14,390 people worldwide As of 2009. It has interests varying from finance, information technology, online retail, online education, consumer care and entertainment business. Larry G. Carlton is the Chairman of the board.

History

Exhilway (acronym of Exhilaration and Way) started as financial company in 1974 from Cheriton BISHOP A village in the United Kingdom founded by Mark Carlton father of Larry G. Carlton.

When his father died in 1985 Larry, a chartered accountant by profession took on the leadership of the company at the age 27. He repositioned it and transformed Exhilway into a full fledged financial services provider which now posses offices worldwide. He shifted Exhilway's base from United Kingdom to Canada.

In 1991 Larry sold majority stake to Anand Malhotra, a New Delhi, India based businessman who invested over $1.6 billion and played major role in diversifying Exhilway.
