European Automotive Engineers Coperation
European Automobile Engineers Cooperation (EAEC) is a cooperation of the European automotive engineers societies, responding to the need for more specific cooperation among the European societies within the core of FISITA.
EAEC was founded in 1985 and has 24 Member Societies. The purpose of the EAEC
•is to forge closer links between the European automobive engineers societies, with the specific objective of interchanging information through programmes and technical joint meetings
•is to advance the common aims and objectives of the Member Societies and through them to provide impetus to the advancement of engineering science and practice in the field of automotive engineering
•is to act as a focus for the interchange of professional engineering knowledge and opinion among the Member Societies in particular and in general, within the framework of Europe and specifically through FISITA members
•is to foster and support progressive attitudes towards the promotion of the indigenous automobile industry and its professional engineers and other interested parties
The EAEC holds biannual congresses on topics of interest for all European manufacturers of vehicles, engines and components, universities and research institutes, traffic authorities and test and surveillance institutes. Altogether the congresses are a unique opportunity for all engineers to discuss the latest developments and to establish personal contacts throughout Europe.
