European Association for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy
The European Association for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy (dt.: Europäische Gesellschaft für Neuro-Linguistische Psychotherapie), or EANLPt, is a platform of national NLPt organizations, NLPt training institutes and neuro-linguistic psychotherapists and represents NLPt (Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy) in Europe. The EANLPt has its main office in Vienna (Austria) and was established in 1995.
President of EANLPt is Dr. Catalin Zaharia (Romania), Vice Presidents are Dipl.-Psych. Birgit Bader (Germany) and Melita Reiner, M.Sc. (Croatia). Secretary General of the EANLPt is Mag. Peter Schütz, M.Sc. MBA (Austria), his deputies are Riitta Malkamäki (Finland) and Dr. Gyula Bíró (Hungary).
Its stated goals are:
- Promoting the application of psychotherapeutic NLPt (Neuro- Linguistic Psychotherapy NLPt ) as a recognized psychotherapy method in Europe
- Supporting of high-quality training standards and representing this method in the European government agencies and within the EAP
- Supporting the creation of a global platform for NLPt
The EANLPt is the European-wide recognition organization (EWAO) for NLPt in the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
Experienced NLP psychotherapists can obtain the status ECP with the help of "grandparenting" criteria.
The EANLPt holds two annual conferences in different European countries.
