Euricase
The Euricase is a digital jewelry box invented in 2007 by Danny Oh and produced by Euri Inc. of Torrance, California USA. The name "Euri" is Korean for Crystal. Euricase features a 2 inch full color LCD screen mounted inside the lid that automatically plays content uploaded by the user when opened, such as a personalized voice recording or video/audio content. The Euricase comes in a number of finishes including a limited EDition 24K gold plated ring box.
Features
The Euricase is capable of storing up to 500 photos or 60 minutes of video for automatic playback on a 2 inch LCD screen mounted inside the lid of the box. It also doubles as a calendar or alarm clock. Other features of the device include USB connectivity, pre-loaded video conversion software, built-in memory and a rechargeable lithium battery.
How the Euricase works
Using a USB interface the user connects the box to a PC and opens it. Preinstalled photo/video conversion software automatically opens on the computer screen and you simply drag and drop files from your computer desktop into the converter window. Once the files are processed, close the box and disconnect the Euricase from the computer.
