Est (TV series)
Est (the "Kelvin Game Show") is aired in Britain. The contestants will become patients and will be psychoanalyzed in the dark and locked in a house for one month. The project is a journey into the brain of nine contestants. Their state of mind is measured by 2 thermometers, one filtering the Kelvin degree and the other the EST degree, a mental state. The winner of this experiment is the contestant who will survive this ordeal.
Synopsis
Twelve TV reality show contestants are locked in a room, in the dark, for a month. The house is riddled with night vision cameras relaying the pictures in black and white.
Each room has its own shower, toilet and bed. Each contestant receives a tray of food 3 times a day. The contestants spend most of their time sleeping with occasional walks inside their respective rooms.
Every day they have to endure one hour of psychotherapy. The show is being aired uncut over the internet and an edited version is broadcast live every day of the week for an hour.
The winner of this experience is the contestant who can physically and mentally survive this ordeal and succeed in opening his/her mind and discover their own map of the universe. There can only be one winner and every day new contestants are ejected from the game.
Dr Kelvin is the omnipresent yet invisible, master of ceremonies, guiding, monitoring and questioning the patients/contestants. We can only hear his voice and see his silhouette.
