Essentials (Failure album)
Essentials is the second compilation album by the alternative rock band Failure. It was released in 2006 on CD Baby.
Background
Following the release of Golden (2004), both key members, Ken Andrews and Greg Edwards got back together to create a double disc album highlighting Failure's best moments, while including several rarities and the complete demos for Magnified (1994). The album also includes individual song critiques by Ken and Greg (only for the first disc).
Disc 1
- Tracks 1-3 are from the debut album Comfort.
- Tracks 4-7 are from the second album Magnified.
- Tracks 8-14 are from the third album Fantastic Planet.
Disc 2
- Tracks 1-4 (rare 7 inch singles).
- Tracks 5-14 (demos for Magnified).
