Eric Durchholz

Eric Durchholz, (born Patrick John Coleman in 1972) who publishes under his legal name, Eric Durchholz, and also writes under the pseudonym Jaya Mangelou, is an author, 3-D and multimedia graphic artist , and former Internet radio host. A gay writer, Durchholz has stated that he draws on childhood experiences and memories of growing up as a bullied gay youth in his writing.

A recognized name and personality in gay pop culture and fiction, he has spoken at seminars and been interviewed on the Starz! network. At one time a prolific Internet Radio host, Durchholz did a live netcast during the [...] attacks of 9/11. Durchholz also contributed in part to Camgirls: Celebrity and Community in the Age of Social Networks (Digital Formations) by Theresa M. Senft.

Durchholz is perhaps best known for his first novel, The Promise of Eden. He is also the author of The Fabulous Second Coming, (2000) Just Publish Some of my Poetry 'Fore I Diiie (2001), Digital Demons (DVD - 2005) Off Tha Chain (2005), iNVERSION (2005), 3dboys- Hardcover Coffeetable Book Type Thing (2007) among several other novels and coffee table books.
