Emir Mail an independent Mail Delivery Service, working under the licence of Emirates Post, is the first in GCC region to connect people and business communities throughout the Emirates by delivering mail in a quick, reliable and efficient manner of saving time and money.

Process

Emir Mail's services start from collecting registered mails from Emirates Post Hub and are transported to Emir Mail Sorting/Processing Hub. Each mail item will have a unique barcode to track and ensure safe and reliable delivery to the customer’s mailbox. Emir Mail uses processes and tools that are automated through advanced, innovative, state-of-the art & first of its kind technology in the GCC region. Emir Mail delivery vehicles are installed with Geographical Positioning System (GPS) for higher efficiency and security purposes. This enables Emir Mail Hub and field carriers to remain in constant communication. It also allows real-time vehicle tracking and Fleet Management resulting in increased productivity and customer satisfaction through better response times and more accurate deliveries.

Fleet

Eco- friendly electric Scooters, Emir Mail strongly believes in the Dubai Government's Green Initiatives. Electric scooters are environment friendly and in harmony with Emir Mail practices. Scooters will be used for doorstep delivery to villas and apartments.

Vans, Emir Mail vans are considered mobile sorting hubs thanks to todays technology invested in them. Emir Mail vans will also be used in carrying out mails from Emirates Post to Emir Mail Central hub wherein mails will be sorted and bar coded and ready for delivery the following day.

Despite of the increasing trends brought by technologies thru Internet, a lot of residences still rely on an old fashioned and trusted method of “hand delivered mail".

Investment & Support

The Investment on different supplements and department of which the firm claims 80% has been invested to perfect and modernize the sorting hub of the firm has allowed Emir Mail to use automations for most of the work.

Track & Trace

Preparation for zoning and routing in different areas of the U.A.E has been a big challenge for Emir Mail, without a zip code system in the region, The firm uses Geographical Positioning Systems for the matter. Each envelope will have a barcode printed on and the Operations room of the company will monitor the barcode every time it’s been scanned by Emir Mail Sorters and postmen. The monitoring of the barcode also allows the servers to monitor when a mail has been delivered to a mailbox and sends an SMS to the precipitant every time a mail has been dropped in. With tracking devices on every vehicle, precipitants can trace their mail even when it’s on the move, which over all is a pretty cool feature.
