Emilia Palencia Medical Mission

  • The Emilia Palencia Medical-Dental Mission is held annually during the month of May in honor of the late, beloved wife of Dr. Abundio Palencia, Sr.
  • The mission provides the following free services to indigents of the local town and adjacent provinces: medical and dental consultations , major and minor surgeries, teeth extractions, free medicines, laboratory exams, chest x-rays, electroencephalograms and bone scans.
  • It is conducted in the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes College Foundation in Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines.
  • The medical and dental mission brings in volunteers from the local sector as well as medical practitioners from the United States.
  • The medical mission uses the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as its base hospital.
  • The medical mission is a non-profit organization.
