Elvis McMan

Elvis McMan was an American punk band based in Stamford, Connecticut

The band was formed in 2000. They are best known for the strong female vocals and stage presence of Erin Miller, who came into the band after a few line up changes.

The band was signed to Asbestos Records, and released their first full length on July 22, 2003 called Punch in a Kiss. Jean-Christophe of Raw Recording mentioned that "we could just punch in the kiss" when talking AbOUT Devil's Kisses. The term "punch" refers to a technique used in recording. Considering the controversy of the bands notorious stage antics most notably Erin's balls to the wall in your face confrontational attitude, it seemed all the more fitting for the album.

The band has been compared to the Ramones, while the vocals were to Mia Zapata meets Blondie.

"If you close your eyes and pretend it was 1977, Elvis McMan could easily be mistaken for one of the classics; derived directly from the early punk bands from the 70's but with aesthetically pleasing female vocals." Mike Sembos, Fairfield Weekly.

In addition the band has been featured on many compliations and has been nationally distributed.
