EKOSPOL

EKOSPOL is a leader of the Czech residential development. Since its foundation in 1992, EKOSPOL has realized more than 48 large residential projects for more than 9,000 customers. According to the market share of apartments sold in the first half of 2014, EKOSPOL ranked first among all residential developers in Czech Republic. In 2014, EKOSPOL established new Czech record by selling 250 apartments within one month.

The founder, CEO and chairman of the board is Evzen Korec.

History

EKOSPOL has developed continuously, starting with development of building plots, later followed by construction of houses and luxury villas and finally by building of large residential complexes with several hundred apartments. Although originally established as a small construction company, Ekospol has grown into the role of a general contractor over the years and finally developed into its current role, an investor and developer.

The company has always been operating and financing all its projects strictly from its own capital without using bank loans or any other forms of external funding.

As the only Czech residential developer, EKOSPOL achieved the highest possible rating ČEKIA Stability Award in 2009-2012 announced by the Czech Capital Information Agency (ČEKIA) in cooperation with the CZECH TOP 100 association. EKOSPOL also ranks among the 50 leading residential developers in Central and Eastern Europe according to recognized magazine CiJ (Construction & Investment Journal).

In September 2009, EKOSPOL's residential area Nove Mecholupy was awarded the State Housing Development Fund Award during the announcement of the final results of the Building of the Year 2009 Awards. In August 2010, the residential project Residence Dalejske vyhledy won the Special Award of the General Director of the promoter, Wienerberger brick industry, in the POROTHERM House 2010 competition. The housing area Viladomy Uhrineves scored in 2012 and 2013 in competitions POROTHERM HOUSE BRICK AWARD 2011/2012 and Facade of the Year 2013.

Residential development company EKOSPOL is frequently mentioned in all substantial Czech media regarding its expert knowledge of the real estate market. EKOSPOL constantly ranks among the most frequently cited real estate companies in the Czech Republic. In 2013, EKOSPOL brand was mentioned in almost 900 articles resulting into the position of the most frequently quoted real estate company of the year.
