Ehsan Sehgal
Ehsan Sehgal is a Pakistani-Dutch poet and writer. His literary works include Zarb-e-Sukhan and Rah-e-Danish.
Biography
Sehgal was born on 15 November 1951 in Larkana and got master's degree in Urdu literature and LLB degree from University of Karachi.
Sehgal served in Pakistan army and received Sitara-e-Harb in 1965. He has also written ruba'i.
Besides the novel and books of poetry, he published a collection of aphorisms in Dutch in 2010. The book, De Wijze Weg ("The Wise Way"), was written and translated with the help of Naeem Arif. The book was also produced in a bilingual version containing both English and Urdu.
Sehgal received Faiz Ahmad Faiz Award from Urdu Aalmi Tehreek London for his literary services.
