Efe Çimrin
Efe Çimrin- aka E.F.E has been composing music since he was 11-years old. His participation in various music projects has given him an appreciation for all types of music, including classical and modern fusion influenced jazz and his native Turkish folk music. One of his generations most influential underground musician EFE has several band projects in U.S. in addition to performing and writing songs for other famous Turkish musicians.
His current music represents a fusion of all his major influences though starting late 90's, the electronic music revolution played a huge role shaping his musical taste. Efe combines elements of world music with a wide range of electronic influences. Simple song structures, catchy melodies, and beautiful vocals are the main focus of the songwriting process. His songs titled Masal and Yağmur have had raving reviews from major Turkish newspapers and magazines. In one of his late interviews Efe has revealed that a new album is on its way while he refused to share the details.
