Edwin E. Smith

Edwin E. Smith is a minor American poet. The Author of only one published collection, One Stranger to Another, he is not well known to the general public although he has some fans in the literary establishment. He is a distinctively Southern poet though not in keeping with the traditions of the Southern Gothic school. Rather his work, chiefly lyrical poems, applies many of the lessons of his pastoral antecedents to more citified locations.
