Eddie Galan

Eddie Galan (born February 4, 1979) is a Los Angeles born singer/musician, 4 time #1 Hit Billboard songwriter and record producer, with 15x Platinum status. He is the oldest of four children to Edward and Teresa Galan.

Eddie G. won a 2006 Billboard Award for his work on Disney's "High School MusicAL", which took home the Billboard Soundtrack Album of The Year award. The album was also nominated for the Billboard Album Of The Year Award, and spawned 2 Billboard #1's. Eddie G. was also nominate in the Best Pop/Rock Album category for the 2006 American Music Award. Eddie Galan co-produced the B5 version of a song called "Get'cha Head In Da Game," on "High School Musical." In 2006, he co-produced and vocal arranged B5's "Shining Star" on Disney's "Hannah Montana Soundtrack" CD, which achieved triple platinum status recently, 2.81 million in sales and spawned two #1's on the Billboard 200 charts, as well as co-wrote and produced three songs on Sony Records recording artist Cecy B. Eddie Galan has landed 103 cuts in 2007 (these include film, television, video games and major and indie label artists) and is currently working on numerous major label projects, in addition to having 11 Trilogy Productions' acts signed to record deals in 2007.

In 2005, Eddie Galan worked with Southern Signal Records/EMI Records major label recording artist, Myra, on her second release. (Myra was signed to Walt Disney's Buena Vista Records for her first album and recorded the smash hit "Miracles Happen" for the Princess Diaries.) On Myra's second album, Eddie Galan produced and arranged 8 songs, singing backgrounds and writing on a few of the songs as well.

In 2006, Eddie Galan worked with Korean superstar, Park Jung Ah, on her debut solo album, producing the song "Fly Away" with Sean Alexander, which was written by Gregory Watton and Michael Heart; as well as writing the song "I'm Not That Girl", sung by Brenda Song, for Disney's "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior".

The most recent success for Eddie Galan has come internationally in Mexico, as Eddie has produced "Freakshow" for debut artist Victoria. The single has become a new Top 10 hit in Mexico in its first 2 weeks on the charts. In addition, on September 20th, 2007, Interscope recording artist, "The Clique Girlz" performed Eddie Galan's song, "INCredible" on the TBN Network, seen worldwide in hundreds of millions of homes.

Eddie has collaborated and worked with many established acts, including Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys O-Town, DREAM, B5, Lil Romeo, Jesse McCartney, Nina Sky, Myra and Steven Tyler.

Some of the projects rumored for Eddie Galan to currently be working on are upcoming projects for the Interscope recording artist "Clique Girlz", Universal Records recording arists Alyson Stoner and Devon Werkheiser, Jessica Simpson, Island Def Jam Records recording girl group A Girl Called Jane and many other top major label acts.

Eddie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Eddie studied film production at Occidental College in Los Angeles and began a successful career in music songwriting and production right out of college. Eddie Galan has recently signed an exclusive music management deal with Bonnie Gallanter of Muse Artist Management.
