Ecowizard
EcoWizard is a wireless sensor network (WSN) specialized in energy related measurement. The device is built upon the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. It is regarded as energy monitoring version of NeoMote, one of the commonly used industrial mote systems.
Hardware
The device consists of a Printed Circuit board enclosed in an ABS housing.

Networking
The motes communicate using the IEEE 802.15.4 standard including the base-station approach to sensor networking. The NeoMote supports the IEEE 802.15.4 MAC layer, on top of which ZigBee or similar system layers can be built.
Software
Suppoted by a software in design platform for MICAz hardware called MoteWorks. The client software, MoteExplorer, is presinstalled in a Linux PC.
