Echo Digital Audio
Echo Digital Audio is a designer and importer of various digital audio recording interfaces. They manufacture primarily in Taiwan.
Echo Digital Audio ( formerly Street Electronics) introduced their first audio interface Echo 2 for the Apple II in 1980 to provide speech output for the blind, educational, and handicapped markets.
In the 1990s Echo went on to design and manufacture one of the first multi-track audio recording product for the PC and Mac markets. Echo has licensed its DSP-based audio technology to several leading audio and semiconductor companies including: Gibson Guitar, Analog Devices, HP, Sony, Motorola, Peavey, Mackie, Carvin, and Dolby Laboratories.
In 1998 they introduced their first family of pro audio interfaces (Layla, Gina, and Darla).
Products and markets
Echo Digital Audio PCI and IEEE 1394 audio interfaces offer analog to digital converters for recording and sound from DAW.

AudioFire products include AudioFire 2, AudioFire 4, AudioFire 8, AudioFire 12 and AudioFire Pre8.
