History

E Backwards E was started in 1999 in Lansing Michigan by Jeremy Larsson, Jai Dodge and Jason Seger.

Jeremy Larsson-Bass/Vocals & Jason Seger-Drums founded the band Hello in 1994-1998. Jeff Wilcox-Guitar/Vocals& Jai Dodge-Drums founded the band Godspeed in 1994-1998. Jeremy Larsson joined Godspeed in 1997 as the bass player and backup vocals.The two bands combined in 1999 with the addition of Mike Cary from St. Johns Michigan to form E Backwards E. The band experienced local success packing clubs and barns until late 2001. In 2001 E Backwards E moved to Los Angeles California where the band has been performing live shows and recording new material. In 2007 Jeremy Larsson, Jai Dodge & Jason Seger started production on their third major recording.

Albums

In April of 1999 they recorded their first record entitled "Need More Time'. It was recorded by Tim Lau of Laud Productions.

In 2000 Tim Lau also recorded the EP "The House of E"

In 2004 the band recorded "Paid" at 4th Street Recordings in Santa Monica California. It was mixed and mastered by Logan Mader of Soulfly/Machine Head.
