DJ Ritendra
Ritendra Prasad, also known by the label "DJ Ritendra", is a Fijian music producer, composer, music director, disc jockey, and Internet entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of the record label Lewavesi Production.
Music career
Early Years
DJ Ritendra started Mixing when he was still in University, mixing songs from scratch to share with his peers and people around him.
2015 - Present
In June, DJ Ritendra release two of his Singles Tonight and Ballin Out, which features vocals from American rapper Andrew P.
Following along with popular music scenes, he began collaborating with Savuto Vakadewavosa and released the official Remix of Award winning track Curu Mai in early July.
DJ Ritendra released Now That You're Gone on 13 July. which appeared to be his debut studio album. The album consist of 9 tracks and also features several singers, like Jovana Djordjevic, Bojan Chavez Aleksic, Anna Yanova-Cattoor and Andrew P. The album was released under the label Lewavesi Production, which was co-founded by him.
Currently, DJ Ritendra is working on his upcoming Track "Misunderstand", which will feature Vocals from Fijian singer and songwriter Savuto Vakadewavosa and additional production from Fijian Music producer DJ DarXide and is expected to be released in 2016.
Public image
In 2015, the Fijian News Source 'The Stallion' acclaimed DJ Ritendra as a "King of EDM" and as a prominent figure in Fiji's Electronic Dance and Electropop music scenes.
Influences
DJ Ritendra claims David Guetta's EDM work as one of his fundamental influences, provoking him to make his own music in that particular genre.
