Jonas Becker (born 14 May 1984 in Frankfurt), known as DJ Katch, is a German DJ and music producer in the fields of hip hop and electronic music from Frankfurt am Main.
Biography
His interest in DJing began in his youth when he first saw a DJ setup live at a friendly neighbor's place. After this, he bought his first DJ equipment, which he financed in part by delivering newspapers.
He created productions and remixes for other artists, his own releases, and participated in Die Freunde der Sonne (Friends of the Sun) with Kool Savas, Illmatic, and DJ Release.
He was a resident DJ at Sven Väth's club Cocoon and organizes the party series DJ Katch's Urbanice at Gibson Club in Frankfurt am Main.
On 2 April 2023, he released the single "U Got It". The chorus of the single is about someone having something and how to deal with it ("You got, you you you got it, now what we going to do about it").
