Digicorp (Formally Digicorp Informations System Pvt. Ltd.) is a privately held information technology services company headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. They have approximately 65 professionals as of March 26, 2010 and offices in 4 countries, with a development center in Ahmedabad.

History

Digicorp was founded on January 16, 2004 in Ahmedabad by 4 college friends from Gujarat University – Abhishek Desai, Kuntal Shah, Nachiket Patel and Sanket Patel. The company was incorporated as a partnership firm called "Digitizers Corporation" and later became a private limited company called "Digicorp Information Systems Pvt. Ltd." in January 2006 with its registered office in Ahmedabad.

Products

Digicamp

Digicorp launched Digicamp in later half of 2010. Digicamp is a simple Android (operating system) client for Basecamp_(software). Digicamp is free to download from Android Market and is in the category of 1000-5000 downloads as of now.

Rivals4Ever

In 2006, the company launched Rivals4Ever. Rivals4Ever is a social networking site that allows members to create rivalries and defend themselves against their rivals. The site allows users to create rivalries on sports, business, politics, gaming, entertainment and history. Rivals4Ever was listed at No. 29 on CNET's 50 most bizarre social networks and was also featured by Mashable on their blog.

Signinstyle

Digicorp developed Sign in Style as a portal to design signatures. Sign in Style offers customized signatures by using calligraphers to design them. Users can also gift signatures to friends for a fee. Sign in style was showcased on CNBC Awaaz Plus in March 2007 as a unique service to provide graphologically designed signatures. The Japanese blog, 100shiki.com, recommended the site for users who need a unique signature.

Developer Blog

The company's Developer Blog is a technology blog from Digicorp written by its founders and developers. It is regularly updated by the company's employees and allows commenting by readers. The company often uses the blog to communicate with users regarding new products, features, and interesting tips and tricks. Content since February 2009 is archived, and the blog is written in a casual style.

Events Blog

The company also maintains another blog, the Events Blog. It contains information about company-wide events and allows contributions and comments from employees.

Recognition

Digicorp was featured in the September 2008 issue of oDesk Newsletter, six months after they signed on as an oDesk provider. In 2010, the company won the GESIA Award for Rising Star – Best Software Company. The founders have also been featured in www.yourstory.in.
