Deutsche Gulf Finance
Deutsche Gulf Finance دويتشه الخليج للتمويل is a joint venture between Deutsche Bank and Al Rajhi. DGF’s mission is to promote home ownership in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region by providing Sharia’a compliant home finance solutions.
History
Investment bank Deutsche Bank and four KSA-based investors led by Fahad Abdullah Al Rajhi decided to establish a home finance company in late 2008. The company was intended to be headquartered in Saudi Arabia with plans to extend its platform throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council through a variety of business activities.
In early 2009 the partners made applications to a variety of ministries and agencies to form a home finance entity in Saudi Arabia. The company, now known as Deutsche Gulf Finance was incorporated on January 17, 2010 and received its Commercial Registration from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on January 24, 2010.
The company opened its Head Office on King Abdullah Road in Riyadh on February 1, 2010.
