Denis Stojnić

Denis Stojnić (born February 2, 1980 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian mixed martial artist. Stojnić has competed exclusively in Holland and Eastern Europe for the majority of his professional career.

He currently trains with the Golden Glory fight team alongside such notable fighters as Alistair Overeem, Sergei Kharitonov and Semmy Schilt.

Mixed martial arts career

Stojnić made his UFC debut on February 7, 2009 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida against Cain Velasquez. Stojnić lost his last fight at UFC 99 against Stefan Struve in what was billed as a “Loser Leaves the UFC match".

Personal Life

His brother, Mersad Stojnić, is also training to become a professional mixed martial artist. His brother was born on April 16, 1993.
