Death by a Salesman
Death By A Salesman is a 2009 punk rock album by the band Triumverate. It will be the band's third full length studio record, and their first recording since January 2007.
Background and Recording
Most of the material for this recording was written throughout 2008, but includes Kill The Town, which had been performed live in March 2007. Final touches on certain songs were made up until the week before entering the studio. The lyrics for Agent Of Chaos were completely rewritten the week before, bearing no resemblance to the original. The entire record was recorded over the course of two days at Soundwave Studios. Many of the tracks were done on the first take to maintain the authenticity of the punk rock ethic.
MusicAL Style And Themes
The record was marked by a more aggressive approach to the music, featuring dual guitars and a distinctive bass sound, along with the trademark freight train drums and angst ridden vocals. The band maintained a unique approach by incorporating simultaneous dueling guitar solos overlapping one another in All Time Low, and having howls throughout the song Full Moon Fever. Several themes are visited throughout the lyrics, the most common of which being growing older and trying (yet ultimately failing) to acclimate to society.

- Full Moon Fever is the third and final song of what the band dubbed The Movie Monster Trilogy. It is a song about werewolves. The previous two songs had been about vampires (Exploding Into Dust) and zombies (Whistling Past The Graveyard) respectively. The song title is in reference to Tom Petty's album of the same name. The band had been known to cover the song Yer So Bad which was a track from that record, in their earlier years.
