Dead Hackers Society (DHS) is a Swedish demogroup which was founded in 1992 by members of several other demogroups. The group have since then kept ACTIVE mostly thanks to new members joining at irregular basis. DHS have mainly focused to make demos for the Atari ST, Atari STe, and Atari Falcon line of computers.
Brief history
Dead Hackers Society was founded in February 1992 by members from The X'Press Crew 1 (Atari), The Creators (Atari), Golems (Amiga) and The Vikings2 (Atari). DHS started out with releasing Atari STe-demos for the first two years. In 1994 the grop moved on to the Atari Falcon computer with the odd STe release in between. By 1999 DHS made their first release for plain Atari ST machines at the Error In Line3 convention. In 1999 DHS also released their first, and so far only, Amiga-release—a port from an Atari ST intro called Four colours. DHS are still releasing demos for Atari ST, Atari STe and Atari Falcon today.
