Dayanand Anglo Vedic Public School, Airoli is a school in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Opened in 1997 at Sector 8, Airoli, the school was relocated to Sector 10, Airoli in 2001.

History

The Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Schools System, also known as the D.A.V. Public Schools System, is the single largest non-governmental education society in India.

Campus

The school has a built-up area of 57,000 sq ft and the project cost Rs 400 lakhs. It is a five-storey structure having a canteen and a playground big enough to play all major sports. It also has a computer,physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics lab.

Curriculum

English is the primary language of instruction, with students also receiving compulsory education in Hindi and Sanskrit or a regional language.

Extracurricular activities

A team of DAV Airoli School students were awarded first place in the 10-12 Large Group category in the 2008 NASA Space Settlement Contest.
