David Scott (writer)
David Scott (born July 22, 1983) in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin is an American screenwriter, playwright, and film producer. He developed a passion for writing while attending West Bend East High School. Something he credits with being so bored with his hometown, that for lack of anything better to do he began Writing Short Stories. After high school David attended New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with honors in 2006. His most recent work includes his critically acclaimed off-off-broadway play I Love You, Petty, and Favre and an upcoming film tentatively titled Tupelo Honey I Love You, Petty, & Favre first premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival, where is received the 2008 Village Voice Audience Favorite Award. The play is in talks of an extended off-broadway run, but nothing has been finalized. David is an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, hence the title of his first play, as well as a former medical student.
