David C. Hayes
David C. Hayes is an accomplished writer of many screenplays, books and comic books. His many works include the cult classic horror film Back Woods and the Septagon Studios comic book Scorn, which has received Critical Acclaim from respected sources such as Ain't It Cool News, Comics Bulletin, and ComicBloc. He is also the costar of many independent films, including the Lionsgate film Machined and the international theatrical release Sportkill. David is also the founder of the independent film production company Abnormal Entertainment.
Biography
Hayes was born in Garden City, Michigan to parents Dave and Sally Hayes. He has one sister Kristen. He spent much of his life in Howell, Michigan before going to Michigan State University in 1989. He spent four years there an obtained a B.A. in English. Some of his early works originated while he was there most notably the script for "Grounds" was drafted in 1991. After leaving Michigan State University in 1993, he moved to Chicago, Illinois. It was here which he began his acting/ writer/ director career officially. "Rainbow Avenger" was his first short film, shot in his backyard in Chicago. He also wrote his first book called "Celluloid Sleaze" during this time. Around 1996, he began acting and writing in Chicago's underground stage theater scene. He acted in performances such as "Scarrie" and "Rudolph the Red Hosed Reindeer". "Gatorbait", his most memorable and sickening show to ever hit Chicago, was written entirely by him. The reviews were Horrible at first but it has since developed a cult following. He would later release this under a new name "Swamp Ho" on the DVD Back Woods. Other performances include the video "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World. He calls himself "the fat guy in his whitie tighties" in that video. He now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife.

Scorn
Scorn is a four book mini-series published by Septagon Studios. Issue #1 and #2 were written by Kevin Moyers. Issue #3 and #4 were co-written by Kevin Moyers and David C. Hayes. All artwork was done by Philipp S. Neundorf.
Scorn #1: Obsessed was originally released independently on August 13, 2004 through Unleashed Publications. It has been re-released in full color on June 9, 2007 by Septagon Studios.
Scorn #2: Rage was released on August 25, 2007

Serial
Serial is an anthology featuring some of the world's most notorious fiends. Serial Killers, mass murderers, the vilest of the vile. Issue #1 was written and illustrated by David C. Hayes, Ryan Yager, Kurt Belcher and Kevin Moyers.
Serial #1 was released independently in January, 2007 through Abnormal Entertainment and Unleashed Publications. It features stories focusing on the infamous child killer John Wayne Gacy, The Railway Killer Ángel Maturino Reséndiz and features a letter written by known cannibal Albert Fish.
