Daron McFarland

Daron Scott McFarland (born on July 24, 1972 in Mobile, Alabama) is an American actor and playwright.

Biography

Daron (which is a combination of his parent’s names, Dale and Ron) was raised in the rural town of Leakesville, Mississippi. While in high school he attended the University of Southern Mississippi and was a regional storyteller for libraries and elementary schools. At 17 he joined the military and served as a Hospital Corpman for the United States Navy and Marine Corp. Member of the 1st FSSG Medical Battalion’s advance landing party arriving in Mogadishu, Somalia during Operation Restore Hope in December of 1992. He left the Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class in August of 1995.

After his military service, Daron embarked on a career as a writer and actor. He was one of the founding members of The Fault Line Theatre in San Diego, California. Trained and became a stuntman performing high falls, sword fights and fire gags for various film and live events. He even worked setting up the pyrotechnics display for Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration atop of the 384 feet high Sky Tower.

In 2002, Daron moved to Hollywood to pursue a film and television career where he was represented by the legendary talent agent, Coralie Jr. Currently Mr. McFarland resides in Los Angeles, California where is a working actor and member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He is also a cast member of The Insanities stage productions and webisodes.
