DaRayl Davis
DaRayl Davis is an American business owner, author, contributing financial commentator, and champion of local and national financial literacy initiatives. He is the founder and CEO of Financial Assurance Corporation, author of Economic Secrets of the New Retirement Environment, and Executive Producer and Host of the radio show Wealth of the Nation™.
Career
Davis started his career as senior manager at the Washington office of American Income Life Insurance Company and then advanced to vice president of the Charles Scott Organization, providing supplemental benefits to federal employees. He founded Financial Assurance Corporation in 2000 as a private wealth management and investment firm., In 2014, his focus shifted to financial education and e-learning through his Smart Money Academy® initiatives.

Davis is an active participant in community initiatives focused on economic progress. He is a board member of the Prince George’s County Maryland Business Roundtable and was on the 2010 Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker’s Transition team as an advisor on Budget and Finance issues.,
Davis has worked with non-profit organizations to advance financial empowerment. At the 2014 National Association of Real Estate Brokers annual conference, Davis lead the Youth Academy where he taught basic financial principles to high school students.
Davis also participated in the 2014 Silver Rights Leadership Academy speaking to college students about financial planning. Through his financial literacy initiatives, Davis also partnered with The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Junior Achievement, and Coca-Cola and the Washington Redskins 4th and Life Forum to speak with student athletes about the importance of setting goals.
In 2014, Davis was appointed to serve as Board Co-Chair of Operation HOPE’s Banking on Our Future College Edition. In 2015, Davis was a featured session leader at the Operation HOPE Global Forum in Atlanta, GA.
Davis is a member of the Global Interdependence Center and the Ford's Theatre Abraham Lincoln National Council.
