Dalli Hadad

Dalli Hadad ( also spelled Dally, Daly, Dali; born February 5, 1982 in Baghdad, Iraq), is an Iraqi singer who established her name when she sang the official Iraqi football song, when winning the 2007 AFC Asian Cup.

She began performing with an Iraqi folk music band in Baghdad at Festival Babel, and since then started attending numerous festivals in Jordan. However, since moving to Jordan she left her old band and moved onto progressing her career with a change in MusicAL direction. It wasn't long before Dalli released her first album "Mashtaka Athamk" and photographed her singles "Salam Allah" and "Yemshy Habebe Dala", which was the first song on her album.

Dalli received much encouragement from her mother to further her career, and cites Kathem Al Saher, Najat Al Saker, Oum Kalthoum and Abdul Halim Hafiz as her favourite artists. She enjoys swimming and playing sports.

She has performed across both Syria and Jordan for the large Iraqi communities there, and is currently settled in Amman, Jordan.
