Crunchyroll Studios

Crunchyroll Studios is the name of Crunchyroll, LLC's in-house post-production recording studio based in Coppell, Texas.

The studio was founded in 1999 as Funimation Studios which began its in-house dub production for the third season of Dragon Ball Z that aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block, with the trend continuing over the following years under the leadership of Gen Fukunaga, who served as its executive producer. From its founding, it was based in North Richland Hills before moving in 2007 to an enlarged building on Lakesside Parkway in Flower Mound, Texas. Funimation Studios then moved to the new Cypress Waters building in late 2021.

Since its inception, Crunchyroll Studios is best known for producing many English-language dubs of popular Japanese anime series, live-action Japanese films and video gems released by Crunchyroll, Toei Animation, Netflix, Aniplex of America, and Bandai Namco. Notable titles include One Piece, My Hero Academia, Case Closed, Sgt. Frog, and Spy × Family which is available on its eponoymus streaming service.
