Whilst his identity remains officially unknown, he is widely considered to be the same individual who also appeared on occasions as a professional wrestling referee under the name Martin Warren. Count von Zuppi is a villain (heel) wrestler. The back story to the character is that he is a successful and wealthy UK businessman - this is the alleged reason why he is unable to reveal his true identity in the ring - who is embarrassed by and has completely denounced his family's [...] background. Nevertheless he routinely enters the arena draped in a German flag, and is prone - when he feels he is AbOUT to overcome his opponent - to goosestepping across the ring and giving [...] salutes to the audience. The majority of his appearances in the UK were made for Dale Martin Promotions and All Star Wrestling, although he has also made intermittent appearances for several other groups both in the UK and elsewhere. At the height of his notority, regular opponents included Big Daddy, Marty Jones, Greg Valentine, Ian McGregor and "Bomber" Pat Roach.
