Core science
Core Science is a science work book made by Marian Haire, Eileen Kennedy Graeme Lofts and Merrin J. Evergreen. It was published by John Wiley & Sons Australia. There are four books which are for different grades mainly for high school students. At the back of the book there is a cd with the book in pdf form which has interactive content.
The activities are divided into sections Think, Imagine, Investigate, Remember, Create, Using Data and Measure. There are a few special topics such as Think and Create. Core science 1 has 9 chapters which is divided by chapter 1.1, 1.2 and so on, In Core science 2 There are 10 chapters, In Core science 3 there are 9 chapters and in Core Science 4 there is 9 chapters. Each chapter has some information AbOUT their topic.Most Chapters have experiments which have to do with the subject the chapter is on. At the end of each chapter their are four pages that are named Putting it all together, Looking back, Extension and Reflection. Reflection, Looking back and Putting it all together are test pages that revises what you have learnt in the chapter. Extension is a page if you want to do more work.
