Confetti Media is a media company based in Bangalore, India, co-founded in 2006 by entrepreneurs Preeti Tewari and Vinod Srinivas1.
History
Confetti Media was established in June 2006, and launched its first publication, Confetti, in September 2006. Based out of Bangalore, it was a hard task for the company to make its mark in the national front as a nationally circulated magazine as Mumbai and Delhi were more lucrative locations for growth in the media field. But soon, Confetti Magazine became the #1 Couples lifestyle magazine, a claim it holds to this day. Confetti Media is also the only media house in the south of India that publishes nationally circulated magazines.
When the company was set up in the year 2006, it was first called Confetti Publication, and the core focus of the company was in-house periodical publications. By January 2008, Confetti Publication was rechristened Confetti Media, and by then, it had strengthened its foothold and expanded into different streams of Media, its primary focus being online media and contract publishing.
Logo
The initial logo created by the original design team had defined the core business of the organisation. However, in February 2008, after two years in operation and a big revamp, the company changed its earlier business approach of focusing only on in-house publications, and expanded into a full-fledged media house, and so the logo no more defined the organisation. The new logo was designed to reflect the real image of the same company with a different identity.
Based on the theory that the Ace of Spades is the strongest of playing cards, Confetti decided to portray themselves as the strongest of media houses with the launch of its new logo in June 2008.
The company provides content provision, syndications, contract publishing, video production, media partnerships, media marketing & distribution, online media, artwork and design.
