Computing with the Amstrad CPC

Computing with the Amstrad CPC ) was one of the first magazines for the Amstrad CPC computers. It included games reviews, pokes (codes for altering games to allow special features like infinite lives - similar to modern day cheats), an interactive fiction (or adventure game) column as well as articles about programming and hardware.

It was a CPC-only spin-off from a previous magazine, Computing With The Amstrad, which had covered all the Amstrad machines (CPC, PCW, PC1512).

However, after a while, the magazine cut back on their game reviews and became more programming-oriented, losing a lot of their younger readers in the process. It was soon overtaken by the more game-oriented "Amstrad Action" magazine.
