Coalition of 9/11 Families
The Coalition of 9/11 Families is a new conglomerate made up of several of the original support groups, each of which started independently after the September 11 [...] attacks. In March 2002, they decided to bond into a "formidable alliance" . In 2002, Tom Rogér was "the graying, mild-mannered" vice-president. Then, Rogér's organization -- whose board features a lobbyist and four lawyers -- was pushing for a bipartisan commission to investigate the events leading up to the September 11 attacks.
Bill Doyle, whose 25-year-old son, Joey, was killed in the attacks was previously the leader of "Give Your Voice", and now heads the Coalition as one of its board members . He has publicly stated on the Alex Jones (radio) Show that he believes the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks, and estimates this conclusion is shared by half of the 9/11 families he represents. "It looks like there was a conspiracy behind 9/11 if you really look at all the facts - a lot of families now feel the same way.".
The Coalition has asked for nine of the sixteen acres of Ground Zero to be preserved, and that the Port Authority of New York move a transportation hub slated for construction directly beneath the North Tower, because dozens of bodies were found there. The Port Authority has indicated they may grant the Coalition's request.
