Clint Morris
Clint Morris (born August 5, 1975, Shepparton) is a journalist cum filmmaker, possibly best known for his work with the world-renowned Moviehole website.
Morris kicked off his media career as a radio announcer, before joining the The Walt Disney Company to work in film publicity. It was at this time that Morris began to develop an interest in the world of online film journalism, and created Moviehole.net. The site, visited by thousands every day, has been called one of the most 'influential' movie sites on the internet by The Sydney Morning Herald.
For the best part of the last decade, Morris has worked as a journalist. He co-hosted the TV programme Video Underground, worked for print outlets like Optus Television, Blitz, The Brag, Beat, WhatDVD, Alpha, Remix and DVD Review, and reviews films for radio stations like ABC in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Morris has also remained actively involved in film. He has done acquisition work for several film and DVD distributors, and worked for several studios - in various ways - on features, including the "Poltergeist" and "Under Siege" movie series.
In 2005, Morris made a move into full-time producing and screenwriting. His production company, Shorris Film, which he runs with U.S actor Christopher Showerman of George of the Jungle 2, has several films in production and development - including the horror satire "Howl" with Eric Stoltz; "Between the Sand and the Sky" with Dee Wallace; "Rampage" from writer Greg Kappy The Scorpion King; "Vauxhall Crossed" with Holly Valance, "Blood and Circus" and the TV series, "Vor-Tex". Morris has also has a couple of films outside of the company that he is involved in, including "Condition Dead", in which he produces with "Transformers" star Tyrese Gibson; "Dead Country"; and the [...] mystery "Shallow Water".
