Cleveland plus

Cleveland Plus is Northeast Ohio’s first and only regional marketing campaign. The campaign was launched in 2007 and is a non-profit that focuses on promoting “The Plus” region, which refers to the 18 counties of Northeast Ohio. Cleveland Plus works to attract companies and jobs to the region while garnering positive press and media coverage for Northeast Ohio. In addition, the campaign plays a role in helping to attract talent to the region and works to disseminate positives news and information to Northeast Ohio residents. The primary objective of the campaign is to grow and enhance Northeast Ohio’s economy.

Cleveland Plus is also known as "Cleveland+" and "ThePlus".

The Regional Marketing Alliance (RMA) of Northeast Ohio oversees and operates the day-to-day activities of the campaign. The RMA works closely with the region’s major metro chambers of commerce and economic development partners. The effort is managed by Richard J. Batyko, president of the Regional Marketing Alliance. The Cleveland Plus offices are located in Downtown Cleveland at 737 Bolivar, Suite 2000.

The campaign’s iconic “plus” symbol has been used in a variety of different ways and was used by President Bush at an appearance in Cleveland.

The marketing efforts introduced by the Cleveland Plus campaign primarily focus on four major cities:
