CityLife

CityLife is a four-piece Alternative Rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania. They are signed on their independent label Collision Studios. The band has been together for 2 years and is currently working on their EP, Through the Smoke.

History

The band first began performing while students at East High School (West Chester, Pennsylvania) in the winter of 2004. Mike Marabella and Jordan Mackay played guitars, and Eddie Calmon played drums. The band, known as the Royals at the time, covered songs by David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and the like. They recorded their first song using nothing more than a cheap computer microphone.

A year later, however, Mackay moved to Maryland, and after a two-month hiatus, Marabella and Calmon began inviting other musicians to jam sessions. One of those musicians, Jake DeVirgiliis, joined the band on bass. Now actively playing again, the band realized they needed a keyboard player, and found Dana Miller to fill the spot. This lineup became CityLife.
