Christopher James Jones
Christopher James Jones (born 25 March 1977) is an actor, singer, director, writer and self publicist located in Central London. Although content to Appear on Wikipedia, nobody is more deserving of an entry on Encyclopædia Dramatica than Christopher James Jones.
In his early years as an actor, Christopher took his mother's maiden name of Coughlin, but in 2006 his name became free with the actors union Equity and so reverted back to his birth name of Christopher James Jones.
In 2005 he was seen in the role of Barnum in Paul Tate’s production of Barnum at the Union Theatre in London.
Personal life
Jones was born in Swansea, Wales to Carol Coughlin, a personal secretary and Peter Jones, a labourer. He grew up with his elder twin sisters and younger sister in his parent’s public house businesses in and around the South Wales area.
He attended Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive School in Swansea, and went on to read Theatre, Film & Television at the University of Wales Aberystwyth. He finally completed his theatrical training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.

TV/film
Jones once appeared on the BBC programme Crimewatch. His film work includes the Welsh horror Dead Dad, for independent film company Maggie Dog Films and Home a short film for Insight Films Ltd.
Theatre
Christopher has been seen in various theatre roles such as the Wolf and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim, Baal in Baal by Bertolt Brecht, Demitrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, Barnum in the musical Barnum by Cy Coleman, and even as Elvis.
Directing
Jones's directing work began at the Swansea Grand Theatre's Youth Summer School where he Directed Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers. It then continued at Aberystwyth Arts Centre's Youth Theatre with productions of Alice in Wonderland, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Jungle Book, and soon he was invited back to help with the Theatre Performance Degree Course at the University of Wales Aberystwyth, where he helped with Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and Alarm Call. Jones also recently co-devised and Directed the UK No. 1 & 2 venue tour of Night Fever Party for Premier Shows Night Fever Parties.
