Christopher Hayes is an entrepreneurial marketing director with a focus in the area of Social Media. Hayes is Marketing Director and head of the social media division of Euro RSCG 4D. Recently, he secured a high profile project with the United Nations to support women’s education globally.
Hayes' achievements include the following:
• Created Middleberg Euro RSCG 1.2.1 - the first online marketing division of a traditional PR firm.
• Created the first online New Years Eve in partnership with Yahoo!
• Is presently teaching a class at NYU, entirely using Twitter.
• is currently writing a book on social media to be published by New York University Press in the Fall of 2010.
Business Ventures
Hayes & Associates was sold to Middleberg Euro RSCG in 1999. Hayes has worked for the Euro RSCG group for nearly a decade after selling Hayes Partners, an online marketing agency to Middleberg Euro RSCG in 1999. He became General Manager of Middleberg Euro RSCG and went on to work for Euro RSCG Worldwide in New York as Senior Vice President, Marketing Services.
Barc LLC is a leading skincare company focused on urban male market. Hayes founded Barcin November 2005 and still leads the company. Barc was recently introduced in Europe.

Social Media
• Launched European social media division and secured high profile United Nations projects.
• Created and implemented grassroots online marketing campaigns promoting Life & Style to celebrity fans online.
• Created three‐part viral marketing campaign that generated buzz for Miramax’s Serendipity, Bridget Jones’ Diary and Spy Kids by mobilizing actor fan bases.
• Secured new clients including Microsoft, Miramax, MTV, VH1, Sesame Street, BMG, Teen People, Nickelodeon and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
• Developed and implemented “My Artist” strategy for MTV and VH1 that resulted in the acquisition of over 1MM registered users.
• Directed the re‐launch of Britannica.com that the Wall Street Journal named the biggest launch in Internet history.
• Spearheaded grassroots marketing for multiple genre specific BMG music sites that resulted in over 500k registered users.

• Identified “Most Valued Customer” segments for MasterCard and Verizon to develop multiple retention programs.

Developed and implemented four conferences targeting CEO’s, top‐level executive recruiters and senior human resource executives that drove $2MM in new revenue personally featured on CNN on segment on executive recruiting.
