Christian J Simpson
Christian J Simpson is an English television and film actor, writer and composer. He portrayed Lieutenant Gavyn Sykes in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace . Simpson's likeness was also featured as a promoted Captain Sykes in the MMORPG video game Star Wars: Galaxies . In Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Simpson performed the motion capture work for the female BD-3000 luxury droid—a fully CGI character. He was also Hayden Christensen's stand-in for the part of Anakin Skywalker .
In addition to his work on the Star Wars prequels, he has been featured in several other notable film and television productions . These include Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (as Old Fred Weasley - a character who ironically died young), EastEnders, Family Affairs, Red Cap, Casualty and MI5: Spooks. He has appeared as a guest at a number of autograph signing conventions for movie fans in Japan, Germany, Canada, Great Britain, and most recently at San Diego Comic Con in the USA.
As a songwriter, Simpson has collaborated with platinum artists including Simon Cowell's The X-Factor finalist and Sony BMG artist Andy Abraham, Peter Cunnah (Honeyz/D:Ream), and Dave Curtis (Madonna's Ray of Light) .
As a writer, Simpson's work has seen worldwide release and he is currently developing major film and television story treatments in London and Hollywood, where he is based.
