Defending Against Allegations
In mid-May 2026, just before the leadership vote, Dyson made headlines when he issued an official statement strongly denying media reports of alleged federal election wrongdoing by Findlay. Dyson called the allegations unproven and false, noting that the campaign had received no official notice of an investigation from Elections Canada. The party's organizing committee eventually found insufficient evidence to take action, and Findlay went on to win the leadership.
Media Appearances
Following the victory, Dyson appeared as a featured guest on the B.C. political podcast Hotel Pacifico in June 2026 to discuss the ins and outs and strategy behind the winning leadership campaign.
