Chinedu Oguejiofo Okoye (C.O. Okoye) is a Professor of Urban Planning and Environmental Management. He is the current dean, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. He specializes in Housing Studies, Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, Urban Environmental Studies, Infrastructure facilities studies and Waste Management Studies.

Early life and education

He earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning, followed by a Ph.D. in Environmental Management from UNIZIK and/or affiliated Nigerian universities.
