Chi Eekway

Chi Eekway is a fictional character in the Star Wars film Revenge of the Sith. She was formally from the planet Wroona for which she served as Senator. She was one of the few that Senators Bail Organa and Mon Mothma gathered together to discuss their increasing concern for Chancellor Palpatine's expanding emergency powers, and a way to find a diplomatic solution to the war. She and many others including Padme Amidala and Giddean Danu were determined to keep democracy in the Senate, no matter what the cost.

Chi Eekway was a Twi'lek that wore heavy robes with only her blue-skinned face visible. She was also rumored to have close contact with the mysterious Baron Papanoida. She was a vigorous woman full of patience, loving nature, and kindness.

Miscellanea

• Chi Eekway is never mentioned in any other of the Star Wars novels or movies after or before Revenge of the Sith.
• Chi Eekway was played by Katie Lucas, daughter of Star Wars creator George Lucas. She appeared in a few scenes in Revenge of the Sith, mostly serving as a background extra. In the Opera scene, she appeared along with Baron Papanoida, who was played by George Lucas. Chi featured in one scene with a few close-ups and a line. This scene was cut from the original movie, but is shown on the Revenge of the Sith DVD.
